Silver City Number Plates

SILVER CITY, N.M. (AP) – The public can chose among three designs for a Western New Mexico University number plate.

All three designs include the Silver City university’s logo and its colors, known as royalty purple and vegas gold.

The public can vote on the designs at www.wnmu.edu/plate through April 16.

The design that receives the most votes will be chosen as the Western’s first collegiate number plate.

Alumni Affairs director Arlene Schadel says the school’s have been asking for a collegiate plate for years.
