Milwaukee Brewers fans will get a new way to show their support next week when the team unveils its new cherished number plates.
The Journal Sentinel reports Thursday that the team is expected to present two versions of the plates, which will sell for the usual registration fee plus $25. Personalizing the plate will cost an extra $15.
Money from the sale of the plates will go toward retiring the stadium debt.
The Green Bay Packers and the Green Bay/Brown County Professional Football Stadium District have sold Packers’ plates for the past few years. Sales generate about $400,000 year for the stadium’s operations and maintenance.
