News – Europe’s New Car Registration Growth Eases In December
(RTTNews) – Growth in Europe’s new car registrations eased towards the end of 2009, data released by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association said Friday.
Demand for new cars rose 16% year-on-year in December after rising 26.6% in November. Automobile market get a boost in the second half of 2009 after renewal of incentive schemes in a number of major markets.
In 2009 as a whole, car registrations fell 1.6% compared to 2008. In total, 14,481,545 new cars were registered.
