According to the Rhode Island Lottery, Calvene Perez took it as a hint from fate that she should play the Daily Numbers using those numbers. She bought one ticket at State Line Tobacco in Tivertonwith three separate wagers using the number combination 2 2 4 4 and the number came up in that exact order for Wednesday night’s drawing.
The excited winner said she will be using the money to pay bills.
Numbers and personalised number plates and often considered lucky items especially with the number 8.
