Virginia Memorial Numberplates To Be Issued

he latest proposed license plate in Virginia is a tribute to the victims of the Virginia Tech shootings.

The Virginia Tech Victims Family Outreach Foundation is spearheading the effort for the new plate. Senator Dave Marsden and Delegate Luke Torian will sponsor a bill in the General Assembly if they can get 350 license plate applications.

If that passes, if the foundation gets one thousand applications by July 1st they will be able to get $15 in proceeds from each plate that is sold
