BRITAINS rudest number plate
Reg Plates ArticleBRITAINS rudest number plate

BRITAIN’S rudest number plate is up for grabs – with a £6,000 price tag.
Despite resembling one of the most explicit words in the English language the reg is entirely legal.
Private number plate suppliers Absolute Reg are selling it after acquiring it from an anonymous individual.
Their managing director Jake Smith said: “We’ve seen a few weird and wonderful plates in our time but this one takes the biscuit.
“It’s very unusual for a plate like this to be available.”
The DVLA regularly ban number plates they deem offensive.
But this one appears to have slipped through their net.
Jake added: “The DVLA aren’t really fans of rude-sounding plates.
“Normally they will pull plates like this off the market before their release date but this one must have slipped through the net so the buyer need not worry.
“It’s completely legitimate.
“I think it’s fair to say this plate will probably attract a certain type of person, someone with a definite sense of humour, and we’re sure there will be a lot of interest.
“Even more so because of how rare it is.”
Valuing private car number plates can be an art as much as a science. You can’t just type in the letters and numbers to a software programme, input some variables, and get a reliable valuation out of the other end. So, if you are hoping to find out how much your personalised number plate is worth, there is a range of factors you need to take into account.
In this article, we will go through how to get your private number plate valued, and look at the features that can make a plate worth more or less money.
