Trans SportPontiac Trans Sport Private and Cherished Registration Number Plates

The Pontiac Trans Sport was a minivan sold by the Pontiac division of General Motors from the 1993 to the 1998 model years. It was a slightly upscale cousin to the Chevrolet Lumina APV and Oldsmobile Silhouette, with a slightly different exterior design than the other minivans, and a higher level of standard equipment. Despite this, the Trans Sport never saw the same success as the Dodge Caravan or Honda Odyssey, and production ended with the closure of the Pontiac brand in 2010.
The Trans Sport was introduced for the 1993 model year, alongside the similar Pontiac Montana. It was offered in two trim levels; an entry-level SE, and a more luxurious LS. The SE was powered by a 3.0L V6 engine, while the LS received a more powerful 3.8L V6. Both engines were paired with a four-speed automatic transmission.
The Trans Sport received a minor refresh for the 1998 model year, with a new front fascia, and updated interior. However, due to slowing sales, it was ultimately discontinued after the 1998 model year, along with the Montana. Despite its short production run, the Trans Sport has remained a popular choice for personalized license plates, with many owners opting for cherished number plates to add a more personal touch to their minivan.
These cherished number plates can be purchased from websites like RegPlates.com, and they can really help to make your Trans Sport stand out from the crowd.
