An unique motor vehicle number plate in Dubai has been sold for a whopping USD 408,391 at an auction here.
The sale, which was the agency’s 72nd, attracted the highest bid, with the licence plate K 50, emirates? Roads and Transport Authority said in a statement.
The second most popular plate of the day ? I 26 ? sold for USD 350,000 (1.3 million dirhams), followed by the plate G-36, which fetched a price of USD 310?000 (1.14 million dirhams).
About 67 bidders attended the event, the authority said.
