Governor Riley unveiled a new design for the “Protect Our Environment” number plate.
Proceeds from the number plate toward Legacy, a non-profit environmental organization that educates Alabamians on the environment.
The design was selected by the public and created by Jan Horton, an art teacher from Mobile.
First Lady Patsy Riley says, “It’s about team work, for the beautification of our state and when one person sees there’s a need to make alabama even more beautiful than it already is people come from all over the state to give.”
