Recycling Number Plate To Be Offered In Virginia

Virginia plans to offer a special recycling number plate for $25, according to a statement issued Thursday by the Virginia Recycling Association.

“The number plate will show support for recycling and raise awareness, which is critical to our efforts in the battle to keep valuable material resources out of our landfills,” said VRA board member Toby Edwards.

For each number plate purchased, $15 will help fund programs that aim to boost recycling in Virginia. The recycling association hopes to collect 350 plate orders by July 31.
