Harbor Bay Island Number Plates

Morris Broad’s long association with Bay Harbor Islands started when he was 10. His father, Shepard Broad, took him on a boat ride to see the 300 acres of mangrove swamp that would become the town.

He couldn’t fully appreciate his father’s vision of development at the time, but he now beams with pride in identifying himself as the longest living person to be connected to Bay Harbor Islands.

It’s a pride he shows off on the front his Lincoln Navigator through a commemorative license plate, and he is making it possible for others to do the same.

Bay Harbor Island residents with an ID can pick up free Bay Harbor Islands decorative plates at town hall, thank to a donation by Broad. He has been a long supporter of town projects.
