(Jefferson City, MO) — A bill designed to save the state and drivers money is moving through the Missouri Senate.
The bill would require Missouri to issue just one number plate per vehicle. It received first round approval this week.
Proponents say it would save the state money. “Why is it that Missouri makes us waste all of the metal and the paint and the effort to have two number plates. It’s silly, doesn’t need to happen,” argues Sen. Matt Bartle (R-Lees Summit).
