The 'general number plate' brings a broad match of results from all types of number plates including cherished plate search (number plates with no year letter), prefix (A1 ABC), current (EL53 BTH) and suffix plates (ROX 6N).
Prefix Number Plates
Our 'prefix style' reg plate search will show number plates using the previous format of a single letter followed by upto three numbers and then 3 letters for example A1 JON, S55 JWC.
Current Number Plates
'Current search' results will show all 7 digit number plates as shown in the example. You can specify the first two letters, the age identifier numbers in the middle and the last three letters at the end.
Dateless Number Plates
'Dateless search' private number plate search results will show only results which do not have any age identifier. These can go onto any age of vehicle without restriction. For example 78 C can be used on a vintage car or a newly registered vehicle.
Remember: You cannot make a vehicle look younger than it actually is.
For example you cannot display a 'XX51 XXX' number plate on a vehicle that was registered in 2000. You can however put on aything of this year or before.
Dateless registrations carry no restrictions.
