Your vehicle may not pass an MOT test with number plates that are supplied illegally.
Illegal number plates can also cause fines from the police. The font and dimensions must be exactly as the current regulations or you may be fined and in extreme cases the DVLA reserve the right to withdraw your personalised number plate.
