The gold star is the new element of the license plate design and represents the excellence every child can achieve with the right start through early education. The plates are available for an issuance fee of $15 and an annual donation of $25 that goes directly to the foundation and its efforts to foster vibrant and engaging early learning programs across the state. The original Celebrate Children license plates have been seen on Wisconsin roadways since 1999.

The foundation also announced the launch of its “Give from Your Heart to Get a Soul” campaign. The campaign, which begins today, gives supporters of the foundation the chance to win the use of a KIA Soul from Russ Darrow KIA for three years. For each $20 donation to the foundation, donors qualify for one chance in a drawing next March for use of the car. The foundation hopes to raise $30,000 during the campaign, all of which will help fund its efforts to promote early education, including investment in the new statewide YoungStar quality improvement initiative.

“The Celebrate Children Foundation is delighted to unveil a new license plate design that continues to carry our mission and message of celebrating every child across Wisconsin,” said James L.
