Those in the front of the line had been there since Sunday and they were eager for the doors to open.<\/p>\n<p>Reserved number plates (those numbers under 2500) are only up for grabs once every eight years when newly designed state license plates are issued. Those that aren\u2019t renewed by Jan. 31 are available on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p>The car registration plate numbers that will be available aren\u2019t known until the County Treasurer\u2019s office opens, making those people closer to the front of the line the lucky ones.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Hoppes was first through the door.
