Nationally, 6,000 teens are killed and  approximately 300,000 injured in crashes each year.<\/p>\n<p>On May 1, changes to the New Jersey Graduated Driver License  (GDL) Law, enacted in 2001, go into effect to help further reduce the  incidence of teen driver and passenger fatalities.
