Edwin Murray, D-New Orleans, to  authorize a special number plate tag for members of the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club.  The bill includes a $25 annual fee in addition to the cost of the tag,  which is based on a vehicle&#8217;s value.<\/p>\n<p>Murray said honorary members and associate members of Zulu would be  eligible for the special tags.<\/p>\n<p>Moments later, the panel gave unanimous approval to Senate Bill 506 by  Sen. A.G. Crowe, R-Slidell, to authorize the state and the New Orleans  Saints to hammer out a design for a tag commemorating the Saints Super  Bowl-winning season.<\/p>\n<p>Both plates would cost $25 a year more than the cost of the regular number plate\u00a0  tags, based on the value of the vehicle, and come with a $3.50  administrative fee.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Committee on Transportation, Highways and Public Works first unanimously approved Senate Bill 524 by Sen.
