It raised additional funds by asking donors to directly fund their scholarships for a year since the endowments they\u2019d created had been crippled.<\/p>\n<p>But that was not enough to save the scholarships available to students, so President George Dennison helped find extra funds.<\/p>\n<p>Car number plates to the rescue again!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hard to believe I know but number plates have actually saved scholarships.
