He was then arrested. <\/p>\n<p>Judge Francis Gilbert at Plymouth Crown Court described Williams, who admitted perverting the course of justice, as a &#8220;thoroughly dishonest person&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Williams was sentenced to eight months, suspended for two years.<\/p>\n<p>He was also fined \u00a31,000 and ordered to wear an electronic tag. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigel Roger Williams, 44, from Torquay, Devon, was photographed speeding in his MG ZR car on the A3022 in November 2007 by a Devon and Cornwall Safety Camera Partnership van.
