It seems the cherished number plate bug is catching as the Lord Mayor of London Boris Johnson has been seen recently displaying the registration MAY 10R.<\/p>\n

The plate was originally sold at auction in 1997 for around \u00a32000 and is now valued at over \u00a320,000!<\/p>\n

Boris is not the only Mayor to have access to a personalised plate. The Lord Mayor of\u00a0 London \u2013 an entirely different office \u2013 has use of a 1980s Rolls Royce Phantom with the plate LM 0.<\/span><\/p>\n
