The number plate auction will have more than 30 of Queensland’s most valuable number plates and for the first time, personalised plates, Queensland will release Q registration plates and highly valuable and prestigious number plates for auction.<\/p>\n
Top of the show will be Q8, which has been held on to by a Sydney-based investor for more than 20 years before he recently decided to offer the plate for auction.<\/p>\n
The plate, estimated to be Queensland’s second most valuable after Stefan’s Q1, could fetch more than $400,000 at a previous auction.<\/p>\n
Prices for quality personalised number plates continue to rise in the UK and overseas with many switched on investors snapping up rare and interesting number plates as an alternative to often stagnant investments.<\/p>\n
