That means there are nearly 120,000 registered vehicles on the road that display a colorful conservation plate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy purchasing a critical habitat numberplate, Minnesotans are showing their commitment to preserving and enhancing habitat for loons, deer, chickadees, fish and other wildlife,\u201d said Mark Holsten, DNR commissioner.<\/p>\n<p>A showy ladyslipper, a northern Minnesota fishing scene, a majestic white-tailed buck, and a black-capped chickadee are among the new designs.
