The auction will take place at Aston Martin\u2019s plant in Newport Pagnell.<\/p>\n<p>Driven by such racing car legends as Stirling Moss, Peter Collins and Roy Salvadori, the car was build to compete in the Le Mans 24-Hours endurance race in 1950, although missed out because of an accident on the way to the race track. It eventually took part in a number of other races including Goodwood.<\/p>\n<p>Bonhams has being doing well with its rare car sales recently, proving that passion investing is alive and well.
