{"id":1314,"date":"2011-10-18T09:01:06","date_gmt":"2011-10-18T09:01:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.image-reg.com\/blog\/?p=1314"},"modified":"2011-10-18T09:01:06","modified_gmt":"2011-10-18T09:01:06","slug":"road-safety-number-plates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.regplates.com\/blog\/2011\/10\/18\/road-safety-number-plates\/","title":{"rendered":"Road Safety Number Plates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Announcing the plan at the Liberal Party State Council in Bendigo,  Premier Ted Baillieu said having a road safety message on number plates  would effectively mean hundreds of thousands of reminders for motorists  to drive safely.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What better place to reinforce road safety messages than on number plates,&#8221; Mr Baillieu said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is about getting people thinking and talking about how to improve road safety.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve  lost 218 lives on our roads already this year. That&#8217;s many grieving  families, friends and colleagues.
