If  approved, it will become available in the fall.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Texas is home to one of the largest Mizzou alumni populations  outside of Missouri, and our Texas-based Tigers are known for being  among the proudest and most supportive anywhere,&#8221;  said Jayson Meyer,  director of alumni relations and staff liaison to Texas alumni chapters,  in a news release. &#8220;The Mizzou license plates being offered in Texas  will provide a great opportunity for alumni to show off their Tiger  pride to the whole Lone Star State.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the next 10 days, the Mizzou Alumni Association is gauging public interest in obtaining an MU-themed license plate option for the state of Texas.
