A case was registered yesterday against Deputy Superintendent of Police Shafkat Hussain of Crime Branch, Jammu for using a fake number plate on his car, they said.    The police intercepted the car at a check point in Pacca Danga area of the city a few days ago when during checking of the vehicle&#8217;s documents, they became suspicious and checked engine number, which did not match with the documents.
