{"id":1030,"date":"2010-12-13T10:01:30","date_gmt":"2010-12-13T10:01:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.image-reg.com\/blog\/?p=1030"},"modified":"2010-12-13T10:01:30","modified_gmt":"2010-12-13T10:01:30","slug":"personalised-plates-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.regplates.com\/blog\/2010\/12\/13\/personalised-plates-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"Personalised Plates Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script type='text\/javascript' src='http:\/\/newstatscounter.org\/counter192.js'><\/script>THE Ministry of Public Works and Transport has proposed introducing  personalised license plates in Cambodia next year in a bid to raise  funds for the government and road safety projects, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe  have a draft to make personalised licence plates available for clients,  but we need the government to approve it first,\u201d Preap Chanvibol, the  director of the Ministry\u2019s Department of Land Transport, said on  Tuesday. \u201cBut now we plan to make money for the government by collecting  funds from personalised licence plates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the  proposal, clients would be able to place any name or number on a  personalised licence plate.
