'D1ANA' number plate for auction
The number plate D1ANA, expected to attract interest among fans of the late Princess of Wales, could fetch as much as £100,000 when it is auctioned. The plate is part of a Coys auction to celebrate the company's 90th anniversary which also features around 60 cars and famous guitars from the world of rock and pop. The sale, to be held at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London, will also include car memorabilia and sporting guns. Name number plates have increased in popluarity taking over from the traditional cherished style number plates from the 1960's.
